I’m just like you with 1000 things on my plate right now and I don’t even have time to describe it. As you can imagine I haven’t had my butt on a computer to sit there and share my closet like crazy, therefore losing out on some sales. This week was a bit dry, but to my rescue, our complex was having a bit of a yard sale. These are the days I live for! I always find that some of the items that don’t sell, or even some of the extra inventory that I have that I know won’t sell, have an opportunity to be sold before the head on off to the Goodwill.
I had tons of shoes that I needed to still list that went out on the sale, but the hard part was letting them go for so cheap, especially with a little effort you can sell them for twice, even three times as much on Poshmark. One thing that really bothered me was one sale I had made. It was a pair of brand new silver hologram Converse that I let go for $5. Dumb on my part because they were BRAND SPANKIN NEW. Easily could’ve gotten at least $15 on Poshmark. But alas there’s nothing like instant gratification to sway your judgements.
Of course all my good stuff got taken and all the stuff I needed to get rid of stayed with me, go figure. But lesson learned, I did make an extra $140 in one morning and sliced my inventory down a smidge.which also means less listing. So my week wasn’t soooooo bad! How was yours? What ways have you sold your stuff if inventory isn’t moving, please share in the comments below!
