My Week in Sales 8.30.16

Spent: I don’t know but more than what I earned!

This week has been a bit crazy. If you’ve already seen, I posted a couple of posts, one of which are the Poshmark Games and the other, the Poshmark Inventory Workbook as well as the Poshmark Closet of the Month. So I’ve been spending more time on my blog as of late, and my YouTube channel to put out some great content for you guys! In exchange for the time put in here I haven’t been spending as much time sharing on Poshmark, if at all. So I haven’t been selling as much as I should.

To give you all an idea of how much I share and what my process is, it’s really quite simple. I share in the morning my closet 1x before I start work, then share my feed. I’m not a big fan of share groups but I do what I can to do some overall sharing. I feel like sharing from the feed is more diverse that way. Then by lunch I share my closet one more time and share the feed again. By the time I head to bed, I grab my phone and share my closet one last time as much as I can before falling asleep. Usually if I stick by that routine, I’ve made at least one sale for the day. For this week it’s only been 3 sales, so I need to up my game up!

Unfortunately for me, being on my phone encourages me peruse the brands which is my weakness. Poshmark already knows I’m a sucker for brands so I always shop for what’s good and cheap! This week I purchased a few Lululemon, and Nike items for the gym and managed to go over my budget for the month (note: I’m a sucker for Kylie Lipkits).

  1. Thank you for being so cool and sharing what you’ve learned!! How do you share your closet? Can you share your entire closet to your followers or only to other outlets (facebook, etc). I can only seem to figure out how to share my closet one item at a time. Same question for sharing your feed, how do you do that? Thanks so much for the help! 🙂

    1. Sharing your feed is basically sharing the listings on your feed like you would share your items from your closet. You can share the link to your closet but there’s not mechanism that can share all your listings all at once…at least not yet. I would highly suggest sharing your items to different outlets, like Pinterest and Facebook, but try not to clog your feed up with just listings. One great way to go is through Facebook groups that sell and share items. Good luck and I hope that helped!       Thanks for reading! I love when I get comments like these! I took a peak into your closet and noticed something that you can try to help increase your sales. The way you name your items could use a bit more detail. Instead of having “Shoes” as your title try naming it something a bit more descriptive so that people are able to find it when they search for it. For instance: “Leopard Print Booties with Brown Ribbon Detail” when people search for leopard print _____. Your item will be sure to pop up in that category. Good luck!! 😘
