welcome to the west.

It’s no secret that Karl Lagerfield is a brilliant and talented designer. But when he designed his latest collection for the Chanel Métiers d’Art Show he made his unique mark conquering the bustling city of Dallas. The epic event strung a collection of fashionistas, celebrities, and starry-eyed consumers to ogle Karl Lagerfield’s latest brilliance in the form of fabric, feathers, pearls and thread. His inspiration drew from the “…idea of old Texas before the Civil War” and the transportation from then to now is quite remarkable. Some of the garments are truly breathtaking and interpreted so well. Up above you can see just a few pieces of his collection ranging from sophisticated native american, gun slinger cowboy, to towns person chic. Just a few pieces they wish they had in the pre civil war era. Check out the video below.

As I was fumbling through Poshmark I noticed that lots of poshers had some key pieces that you could use to make your own ready to wear ensemble. Some of these items are at a phenomenal price that you can’t get anywhere but still get that look.
