Poshmark Tip of the Day: Re-list, Re-list, Re-list!

I re-listed an item 3 times within a span of 1.5 days until it sold. This was a high ticket item that I really wanted out because it cost so much and I had to prove to Ryan that I could sell it within the week. Needless to say, I won this round, and I started trying it with other items as well and it worked! Poshmark’s key ingredient? Brand NEW LISTINGS bar at that top of your feed when you open the app!

The first thing you see on the app v2.64

Anyone who is shopping on the app who has searched for any type of brand they will automatically populate at the top of your feed. These are ALL the new listings that are fresh for the picking and THIS is what has given me my additional boost in sales.

Now I only do this with some of my more higher name brand ticket items, but you can do whatever you want. This is what I like to call “Fishing for buyers”. If the first listing you cast out doesn’t bite, then delete and re-list and cast out another listing and hopefully someone will bite! This is best to do at times when Poshmark is at it’s highest user times. So good luck and see how you do!

Make sure to put your closet name at the bottom so I can check out your closet!

Like, share, this post if it helped you out!

Stay healthy,

  1. I’ve heard (several times) that there’s no need to relist it and that you can just “edit” it and that will push into the new listings. Do you know if that’s true? @miviburt

    1. No. Unfortunately it’s not true and I confirmed that with Poshmark’s engineering team. Also, there was a rumor going around that if you hit ‘edit’ it will share to everyone in Poshmark, that is also false. It just automatically shares to your followers. That was also confirmed by team Posh and we even pulled up the code just to make sure.

  2. I love all these tips!! They have been so helpful to me as I feel like I’ve hit a plateau with my selling. Thanks so much for sharing them.
If you get a chance I would love if you took a look at my closet! @kmarielynch

  3. Hi Ediza, I’ll have to try this tip. I loved your post about peak user activity. I have referred to it many times over the past few months. I do wonder how it has changed with the addition of the daily 4PM PT parties. It’s hard to say whether user activity drives the party times or if the parties times drive user activity. Either way, they certainly reinforce one another.
